Octmented is a vocal ensemble formed in August 1994. It comprises of eight members who have the common aim of making good vocal music and the love for choral singing. In our home page, you can read more about us, our activities and browse through our photo album. You can also follow the links to find out about our coming annual concert as well as to the sites of other vocal ensembles in Singapore.In 1995, Octmented distinguished itself in the National Music Competition by winning the Merit award. It also received the Distinction award in the ABRSM Examinations for Ensembles and was invited to perform in the High Scorers' Concert organised by the Singapore Symphony Company. In 1996, Octmented was invited by the Singapore Arts Council to be part of the Fringe Festival programme. In Feb 1998, Octmented also performed to a full house in its first public concert at Singapore Arts Musuem Auditorium.
